Clara.io gives users three options for navigating inside a viewport. Becoming proficient with the hotkeys for each is key to quickly viewing your models from any angle.
Pan - Panning the camera moves it in the 2D plane orthogonal to its direction. In other words, it moves the camera up, down, left and right relative to the direction it’s facing.
Orbit - Orbiting the camera rotates it about its focal point. Note that this only affects the camera’s pitch and yaw, and not its roll.
Zoom - Zooming the camera moves it along its direction either towards or away from its focal point.
Listed below are hotkeys for different operating systems, as well as scenarios where users might have only have a two button mouse or even a Wacom tablet pen.
Pan - Command + Ctrl + Left Click
Orbit - Command + Left Click
Zoom - Scroll (two finger drag)
